Many of us from Hong Kong comes to this place for two reason - for romance and for relaxation. Now I will start from the latter - Kenting is a place that is offering you food and beaches so definitely do not expect spa and hot springs. It is another sort of relaxation. Now, food is almost everywhere - just head to the streets and the food stalls are opened for you, from drinks to pancakes (Taiwan style) or deep fried seafood. For those of you who claims young and wants to be challenged, head to the South Bay and have fun with all the water sports you can think of (except wakeboard) at a very reasonable price but beware, pay a little extra if you want a warm bath.
And a final word on the city you land, Kaohsiung. Fabulous city for food and drinks, with a flare. Head for any cafes and you will see how dedicated the service is and how much care was given to the decoration of the food and the premises. And worst still, it's not a lot that you are paying. If you still want to dissolve all those you eat, rent a bike and explore the city - well, there is not much to see but at least it is good exercise and much better than taking the metro, which is the same worldwide!----------------------------------------------------------
